II.5
WATER CONNECTIONS
II.5.1
CONNECTION TO THE SYSTEM
IMPORTANT!
The layout of the hydraulic system and connection
of the system to the unit must be carried out in
conformity with local and national rules in force.
IMPORTANT!
It is advisable to install intercept valves that isolate
the unit from the rest of the system. It is also
advisable to install elastic connection joints.
Mesh filters with a square section (longest side =
0.8 mm), of a suitable size and pressure drop for the
system, must be installed. Clean the filter from time
to time.
Once the connections to the unit are made, check that none of the
pipes leak, and bleed the air from the system. The water flow rate
through the heat exchanger must not drop below the value
corresponding with the temperature change of 8°C (with both
compressors on where present or 1 compressor).
in the case of models without pump, he pump must be installed with the
pressing delivery towards the water input to the machine.
It is recommended to mount the air bleed valve.
II.5.2
HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT CONTENT
II.5.2.1
Minimum contents of water circuit
The electronic control equipped with the AdaptiveFunction Plus makes
it possible to reduce the amount of water in the system. For proper
operation of the unit, a minimum amount of water must be ensured in
the water system.

Refer to the maximum power that can be envisioned (also in heating
mode if EWNHM). A specific capacity of 2l/kW. is considered as
indicated in the documentation If the amount of water in the system is
less than the indicated amount, it is necessary to install an additional
storage tank.
II.5.2.2
Maximum contents of water circuit
The P1/P2 units are equipped with an expansion tank and safety valve
that limits the maximum amount of water contained in the system.

PROTECTION AGAINST CORROSION
Do not use corrosive water containing deposits or debris in the
hydraulic circuits who insist on unity; below is the corrosion range:

The use of demineralized water containing chlorine or requires the
adoption of specific exchangers (indicated in the documentation where
available). If it is reasonably certain water quality within the table above,
or you are unsure about the presence of different materials that could
cause over time a gradual corrosion of the heat exchanger, it is
necessary to insert an intermediate heat exchanger inspection and in
material suitable to withstand these components or a heat exchanger
sacrificial. In water/water units, pit and aqueduct water must be used in
compliance with the laws in force in the country where the machines are
installed. Regarding the well water, if there is no risk of corrosion and
do not want to use an intermediate heat exchanger is necessary to
insert upstream of the exchanger a self-cleaning
microns.
