► Before disconnecting the charging leads, press the Stop/Start button to end buffering

Danger due to disconnecting or unplugging the connection sockets and connecting
plugs during the charging process.
This can result in damage to connection sockets and connecting plugs.
► Do not disconnect or unplug charging leads while charging.

Buffering

With buffering, vehicle functions (e.g. car radio, sliding roof, etc.) may be demonstrated
during the charging process. Please note the following:

Press the Stop/Start button to complete charging
Disconnect the black charging lead from the negative pole (-) on the battery
Disconnect the charging lead (red) from the positive pole (+) on battery
Press the Stop/Start button while charging
The charging process is interrupted
Ready indicator flashes
Press the Stop/Start button again to continue charging
The current used over a long period must be less than the charging current.
If the charging current is less than the current used over a long period, the battery will
become discharged.
The charging period is longer in buffering mode and may therefore trigger a safety cut-
out.
