attention to any unusual noises or sparks.
• Check whether all fastening parts are attached cor-
rectly.
• Make sure that the direction of rotation arrow (if
present) on the cutting or roughing wheels* (includ-
ing diamond cutting wheels*) and the direction of ro-

Operation
WARNING
Danger of injury!
Remove the battery from the power tool before carry-
ing out any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance,
tool change, etc.) and when transporting and storing
it. There is a risk of injury if the on/off switch is oper-
ated unintentionally.
ATTENTION
Make sure that the ambient temperature does not ex-
ceed 50°C and does not fall below -20°C during work.
ATTENTION
The product is part of the 20V gomag series and may
only be operated with batteries of this series. Batter-
ies may only be charged with battery chargers of this
series. Observe the manufacturer's instructions.

Adjusting the speed
Note:
The speed can also be changed during operation.
Use the speed preselection button (6) to preselect the
speed:
1 =
lowest speed, e.g. for surface machining:
Grinding, polishing
6 =
highest speed, e.g. for cut-off grinding
• The set speed level is displayed under the speed
preselection (6).
1. Switch on the product using the on/off switch (1).
2. You can select the speed by pressing the speed
preselection button (6).
We recommend determining the speed using practical
tests.
The speed that makes sense when working depends
on what tasks you are doing with the product.
When cut-off grinding, the use of a high speed is usual-
ly not a problem. When sanding or polishing the surfac-
es, a low speed is better.
