6. HYDRAULIC INSTALLATION (diagram A)
The SWITCHMATIC unit must be threaded into a 1/4 'G male socket at the pump
outlet. Before connecting the SWITCHMATIC, check that the hydraulic system is
correctly installed, especially that the hydropneumatic tank is pressurised.
7. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS (diagram B)
Before carrying out any work inside the appliance, it must be disconnected from the
mains. Incorrect connections can damage the electronic circuit.
The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by bad connections. Check
that the power supply is between ~115-230V (SW1-2). For the electrical installation it is
essential to use a high sensitivity differential switch: I = Δn 30 mA (class A or AC). It is
essential to use a circuit breaker adjusted to the consumption of the motor. If you have
purchased the version without cables, follow the instructions in diagram B:
- Use H07RN-F 3G1 or 3G1,5 cables depending on the installed power.
- SW1/2: Connect U, V and to the motor (SW1-2) or C1, C2 and to the panel (SW3 only).
- Connect L1, N and to the mains.
- The earth conductor must be longer than the other conductors. It is the first to be
connected during the connection process and the last to be disconnected during
disconnection. The earth conductor connections are mandatory!
- (Version A only) The device has a potential-free contact for the activation of different
types of alarm signals when a fault is detected. For connection see Diagram C.
