19. Transporting the appliance
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
The appliance is heavy. There is a risk of injury from the strain of lifting the appliance.
 Seek the assistance of at least one other person in order to move the appliance.
 Unplug the mains plug and disconnect the water supply.
 Check whether the washing machine door (4) and detergent compartment (1) are closed.
 Disconnect the inlet and drain hose (9) from the domestic connection.
 Allow the residual water to drain out of the appliance and the hoses (see also "17.4. Cleaning the pump
filter" on page 61).
 Remove the 4 cover caps and engage the 4 transit bolts (8) (see also "9.1. Removing the transit bolts"
on page 49, proceed in reverse order).
 Always transport the appliance vertically, wherever possible.
20. Disposal
PACKAGING
Your appliance has been packaged to protect it from damage in transit. The packaging is made of materi-
als that can be recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
APPLIANCE
Old appliances that carry the symbol illustrated may not be disposed of in ordinary household
waste.
In accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU, the appliance must be disposed of correctly at the
end of its service life.
This involves separating the materials in the appliance for the purpose of recycling and minimis-
ing its environmental impact.
Take old appliances to a collection point for electrical scrap or a recycling centre.
Contact your local waste disposal company or your local authority for more information on this
subject.

Cause
Solution
 Check if the washing machine door (4) is
closed correctly or if clothing is jammed in the
washing machine door (4).
 Open the stopcock, check the water hose and
filter as well as the water pressure.
 Check the pump, the continuity of the waste
water hose and the filter.
 The washing machine drains automatically.
 If not, disconnect the water supply, switch off
the machine, unplug the mains plug and con-
tact customer services.
