› Use templates to position the door sill covers correctly. First position the respective template
on the door sill carefully as shown in the picture.
› The door sill cover templates exactly follow the door sill and the A-pillar.
› Use a suitable felt pen (0.5 mm) to make positioning marks on the door sills. Make the line
along the outside edge of the respective slits.

› Remove the template.
› Put the door sill cover (A) on the sill observing the indicated area. › Check position of the sill
cover in relation to other parts of the car (door seal, door sill radius, etc.).
› Hold the sill cover and make a line of its rear edge on the sill.

› Peel off cover paper from the adhesive surface on the sill cover (A) underside in the length of
about 10 cm.
Warning. Pay attention to the difference between the left and right sill sides.

› Position the sill cover (A) within the marked area and stick the end of the sill cover with
removed cover paper.
› Peel off the cover paper gradually while lightly pressing the sill cover. Put the cover paper in a
sorted waste container.
Warning. Always proceed with utmost care when handling the sill covers and
positioning them, peeling off the cover paper and sticking. The sill cover can bend
undesirably due to its narrow shape and prevent contact with the door sill in certain
areas. This can subsequently result in damage to the paint and corrosion.
Warning. Pay attention to correct positioning of the sill covers before the actual
bonding. Peel off the cover paper just before the actual bonding.
After peeling off a sill cover and repeating its application, sufficient adhesion is no
longer guaranteed.
› Check that the sill cover is correctly bonded. If everything is OK, carefully press the sill cover
with your hand (using the force of at least 80 N).

› About 15 minutes after bonding the sill cover (A), carefully peel off the protective film from
the face side and put it in a sorted waste container.
› Check the condition of the bonded sill cover and press it again over the entire bonded area
using a microfibre cloth if necessary.
