Assembly of the universal clamp (REF xx-13-xxx)
Assembly and disassembly of the cover
The cover must be removed as follows:
Tilt the cover slightly (approx. 30°).

On one side of the cover recess, use your finger to press
•
the cover from back to front until the pin comes out of
the receptacle hole.
The cover must be assembled on the upper part of the
case as follows:
On one side, insert the guiding pin of the cover into the
•
receptacle hole. Ensure that the blue coil tubing runs
backwards through the cover recess.
On the other side, position the pin in the guiding groove
•
of the bearing eye and use your finger to press it back-
wards and lock it into place in the receptacle hole.
Screw the universal clamp with
the enclosed cylinder head
screws with internal hex M6x25
either vertically or horizontally to
the upper part of the case (insert
nuts). The universal clamp thus
enables the tourniquet device to
be assembled on any tabletop,
operating table, rail or stand
tube.
Compressed air connection
CAUTION
The tourniquet device may only be operated
with compressed air.
Version A
Pressure connection RECTUS with pressure hose
Connect the pressure hose using the positive locking con-
nector to the plug connection on the rear of the device.
Connect the other end of the pressure hose to a central
compressed air supply using the corresponding plug con-
nection.
When connected to the central compressed air supply
(operating pressure of min. 2 to max. 10 bar), the pneu-
matic indicator eye on the front plate of the device changes
to green. The tourniquet device is ready for operation.
Version B
Pressure connection NIST
Connect the pressure hose to the NIST connection on the
rear of the device.
Connect the other end of the pressure hose to a central
compressed air supply using the corresponding plug con-
nection.
When connected to the central compressed air supply
(operating pressure of min. 2 to max. 10 bar), the pneu-
matic indicator eye on the front plate of the device changes
to green. The tourniquet device is ready for operation.
