Fault / failure
Indicator eye
Indicator eye does not change to green when the com-

pressed air supply is connected.
Indicator eye stays green after disconnecting from the
•
compressed air supply.
Manometer
Pointer does not respond.
•
Pointer not exactly at zero (tolerance ±10 mmHg).
•
Glass is damaged.
•
Pressure regulator
Pressure regulator cannot be turned anymore.
•
Pressure no longer reaches max. value (600 mmHg
•
±10 %).
Deflate button
Deflation with blue deflate button not possible.
•
Timer
Timer display is too weak or completely missing.
•
Leak in tourniquet system
Cause / troubleshooting
Input pressure of the compressed air supply is missing
or is too low. Provide input pressure of min. 2 bar to
max. 10 bar.
Indicator eye is faulty. Repair by manufacturer.
Compressed air is only slowly released from the pres-
sure hose. A wall gas probe with one-way valve should
not be used.
Indicator eye is faulty. Repair by manufacturer.
Compressed air is missing (see indicator eye).
Pointer is stuck or loose. Replace manometer (see "Ser-
vice Manual, 3 Replacement of Parts, Replacement of
manometer").
Unit faulty. Completely replace manometer (see "Ser-
vice Manual, 3 Replacement of Parts, Replacement of
manometer").
Improper use. Replace glass (see "Service Manual,
3 Replacement of Parts, Replacement of manometer").
Pressure regulator overwound. Loosen pressure regula-
tor knob in accordance with instructions (see "Service
Manual, 3 Replacement of Parts, Pressure regulator
knob cannot be moved anymore").
Pressure regulator faulty. Repair by manufacturer.
Deflate valve is jammed or faulty. Completely replace
valve (see "Service Manual, 3 Replacement of Parts,
Replacement of deflate valve").
Battery empty. Change battery (see "Service Manual,
3 Replacement of Parts, Replacement of battery").
Connections not properly connected. Reconnect con-
nections.
Valves (deflate, one-way, 3/2-way valve) are not tight.
Troubleshooting and repair by manufacturer.
