5.11 Interfaces
The interfaces of the DSHasciSE docking station are described below. They are mounted on the side.

Insert the DC connector of the power supply in the DC socket for the supply voltage.
Unintended use of the interfaces should be avoided.

6 Pairing
6.1 Pairing via BT-compatible short-range radio
You can pair the backhand scanner via the BT function of your device. To do this, turn on the BT function of
your device and search for the backhand scanner. For more information about this function, refer to the
operating manual of your device.
To connect your device:
1. Turn on the backhand scanner.
2. Unlock your device and turn on the Bluetooth function.
3. Search for "HasciSE ID" among the available devices and establish a connection with it (ID stands
for a hexadecimal number with 12 digits, which is unique for every HasciSE).
After successful pairing, the status LED of the backhand scanner flashes pulsating blue at intervals of five
seconds.
If the HasciSE is in BT pairing mode and a pairing attempt is started
via the ACD EasyToConnect 2.0 app, the HasciSE will vibrate at

regular intervals as an error message. A restart of the HasciSE is
required.
NOTE
Afterwards, configure the HasciSE with the desired mode and start
the pairing attempt again.
6.2 Pairing via ACD EasyToConnect 2.0
Another way to carry out pairing is with the ACD EasyToConnect 2.0. This is an easy way for the user to set
up a connection to the HasciSE, with no access to the system settings required for the user. This can be
very helpful in Kiosk mode, for example.

„ACD EasyToConnect 2.0", respectively.
