Operating principle
If a device connected to the SPE AutoFlow generates a vacuum,
the pressure regulator valve will open automatically. Provided the
airflow passage is tight, the exact amount of gas required by the
device will be supplied.
4
Setup
The SPE AutoFlow can be used in an upright or horizontal po-
sition with the test gas can screwed on.
NOTICE!
The manometer is sensitive to mechanical stress.
● Make sure that the test gas can cannot fall or roll away.
● Do not carry or position the test set by the manometer.
5
Preparing the test set for use
The test set must be checked before use and before the test gas
can is screwed on.
5.1
Checking the test set
● Always check the SPE AutoFlow before use to make sure it
is not damaged, corroded or dirty.
● Make sure there is no residual gas in the test set that could
distort the result. Flush the test set if necessary.
5.2
Screwing on the test gas can
1. Remove the sealing cover from the test gas can.
2. Screw the test gas can onto the test gas can connection and
hand-tighten, taking care not to damage the thread of the test
gas can.
The manometer will indicate the pressure in the test gas can.
The test set is ready for use.
