iStorage datAshur® PRO + C
To create an Admin PIN after a Brute Force attack
or Reset, proceed with the following steps.
1. Press KEY button once
RED, GREEN & BLUE LEDs will flash together once and then switch to a
solid RED LED and a blinking GREEN LED.
3. Enter your new 8-15 digit Admin PIN
RED and BLUE LEDs will continue to flicker.
5. Re-enter your new Admin PIN
GREEN LED will continue to blink.
27. Booting from the datAshur PRO
iStorage datAshur PRO C USB drives are equipped with a boot

delay feature in order to accommodate power cycling during a
host boot process.
There may be occasions where you might want to boot from
the datAshur PRO C for various reasons. When booting from

the datAshur PRO C, you are running your computer with the
+
operating system that is installed on the datAshur PRO
2. Press and hold down the number 1 button and press the
KEY button TWICE (double click)
Solid RED LED and blinking GREEN LED will switch to flickering RED
and BLUE LEDs.
4. Press KEY button TWICE (double click)
Flickering RED and BLUE LEDs will switch to a blinking GREEN LED.
6. Press KEY button TWICE (double click)
Blinking GREEN LED will change to solid RED LED and then switch to a flickering
GREEN LED indicating that the Admin PIN was successfully created.

No special actions are required on the part of the user, and to
use this feature, simply unlock the drive and connect to the
USB port of a host computer.
To force an immediate lock, always unplug to remove USB
power to the datAshur PRO
+ C.
