6.3. Connection

the headlight's electronic system!
Using this headlight is restricted to vehicles ensuring that power is still available to supply the lighting
system for at least 2 hours after the engine has switched off due to discharge.
To connect to an e-bike battery, use the internally mounted duplex cable (black wire = earth (-), black
and white wire = power (+)). Do not cut off the cable completely, just shorten it to the required length.
6.4. Rear light connection
Briq-S E has an additional rear light output via cable with faston connectors.
WARNING If the rear light requires more than 0.8 watts (e.g. rear lights with brake light function),
connect the rear light directly to the rear light output of the e-bike system.
Briq-S E T Senso does not have a rear light output. Connect the rear light directly via the rear light
output of the e-bike system!

7. Operation
The headlight is switched on and off via the bike's display.
7.1. Day mode (for Briq-S E T Senso)
When switched on, the headlight is always in the SENSO mode. In bright light, the headlight
operates in the daytime mode supplying a dimmed light onto the road. The additional
daytime running LEDs light up at full brightness and ensure maximum visibility for oncoming
traffic! At dusk and in the dark, the headlight automatically switches to the night mode. The
headlight shines brightly onto the road. The additional daytime LEDs are dimmed but still
clearly visible providing maximum visibility on the road. The headlight's light/dark sensor has
a switchover delay of approx. 8 seconds from night mode to day mode, providing additional
safety. As a result, the mode does not briefly switch to daytime light due to the headlights of
passing cars, and provides greater safety thanks to constant illumination of the road.
