for their safety. Before using the device, make sure that the nominal voltage
and frequency specified in the technical specifications are compatible with
your mains electricity supply. Do not use a damaged device. All device repairs
must be carried out by a qualified specialist at an authorized service center.
Avoid contact of the power cord with sharp objects and hot surfaces. Do not
wrap the power cord around the device. Do not immerse the electric plug,
power cord and/or device in water or other liquids. Do not use adapters or
extension cords. Do not touch the nozzle of a running device. Do not direct the
steam at yourself, other people, animals, plants, and electrical appliances or
electric sockets. Do not use the device to clean surfaces with insufficient heat
resistance (below +100 °C) or on delicate, steam-sensitive materials (leather
products, waxed floors or furniture, synthetic fabrics, and velvet). Only use the
original accessories included in the package. Do not turn on the device if the
water tank is empty. Only fill the tank with purified water. Do not add descalers,
fragrances, cleaning agents, alcohols, or hot water into the tank. Unplug the
device from the mains before attaching or removing accessories and filling the
tank, as well as after use. Do not use chemical or corrosive cleaning agents,
abrasive pastes, agents that contain acids or solvents, or metal scourers to
clean the device. Make sure that the water tank is completely dry before
