Cleaning the Kendall SCD™ 700 Series
CAUTION
Make sure that the Controller is in standby mode and that the power cord is
disconnected from an outlet before attempting to clean.
Do not attempt to open the Controller.
Do not immerse the Controller in water or any liquid.
Do not immerse the tubing in water or any liquid.
Avoid excessive spraying, especially in the areas of the connection ports on the
back of the device. If any liquid enters the ports, internal component damage
will likely result.
Cleaning Controller
The outer surface of the Controller and tubing can be cleaned
with a soft cloth dampened with the cleaners listed below.
Kendall SCD™ 700 Series Controller CLEANERS
0.5% bleach solution (One part bleach to ten parts water, 3-6% solution)
70% Isopropanol alcohol
3 - 7% Hydrogen Peroxide
Ensure that the connectors are fully dry before re-connecting to the Controller.
If needed, contact your medical equipment provider for replacement Controller and
tubing.
Cleaning Leg Sleeves and Foot Cuffs
Do not wash leg sleeves or foot cuffs. If needed, contact your medical equipment
provider for replacement garments.
