1. Resolution: Smallest difference between indications of a displaying
device that can be meaningfully distinguished. For a digital displaying
device, this is the change in the indication when the least significant
digit changes by one step (VIM).
2. Accuracy: Closeness of the agreement between the result of a
measurement and a true value of the measurand (VIM).
3. Repeatability: Closeness of the agreement between the results of
successive measurements of the same measurand carried out under
the same conditions of measurement (VIM).
