5.2 Machine controls
All the coffee grinder-dosers and all the coffee grinders are managed through the on/off
switch on the appliance.
The type of switch (and consequently the operating mode of the appliance) varies ac-
cording to the version of the coffee grinder-doser and/or coffee grinder in your posses-
sion.
The various switches provided on the different versions of the appliances and the rela-
tive operating modes are described below.
5.2.1
"O/I/START" switch on version "A" appliances
Automatic "O/I/Start" switch (Fig. 12 Item 1) available on:

Grocery store coffee grinder
On the "A" version grinder-dosers (i.e. equipped with a microswitch for automatic
filling of the dispenser) there is a three-position switch "O/I/START".

Turned to position "O": appliance off (power supply disconnected).

Turned to position "I": appliance on (electrically powered) with automatic start of
grinding every 6 doses.
- Grinding is stopped automatically when the dispenser is full (Item 2) when the
microswitch (Item 3) is activated by the ground coffee when the maximum level
is reached.
- Grinding is automatically restarted after six doses and stops again when the
dispenser is refilled.

Turned to "START" position: the motor starts with consequent grinding start. Gen-
erally used upon start-up to fill the dispenser.
