PURPOSE OF USE
- THE PALLET TRUCK has the following intended use:
• lift, lower and move objects on horizontal and firm floors able to support the load on a non-slippery, solid surface without
dips or obstacles
- The PALLET TRUCK must not be used for the following operations
• Any use other than above
• it is forbidden to use it in environments containing potentially explosive atmospheres
• it is forbidden to use it to lift people, animals or loads that can cause the pallet truck to become unsteady.
• Do not use in harsh conditions (e.g. extreme climates, in the freezer, strong magnetic fields).
SAFETY RULES
DO NOT OVERLOAD! Do not exceed the rated capacity of the pallet truck; overloading can cause damage or breakages.
• The pallet truck is not designed for use in rainy conditions. If it is used in these conditions, immediately dry it.
• Protect the pallet truck against corrosion and dust.
• Do not load more than one pallet at a time. Make sure that the load is secured and does not swing.
• Do not lift or transport loads on slopes or ramps.
• Distribute the load uniformly over the width and length of the forks to maintain a good balance.
• Use both forks to lift the load. Do not place the load on the tips of the forks.
• Operate at a controllable speed.
• Avoid abrupt movements and manoeuvres.
• Stay away from the forks of the pallet truck. Never place your hands or feet under the forks.
• Park the pallet truck with the forks lowered, in a safe place away from areas where there is traffic
• The handle must be left in raised position to avoid the risk of tripping.
• Do not use a faulty pallet truck.
FAILURE TO HEED THESE WARNINGS may result in loss of the load, damage to THE PALLET TRUCK and/or failure
resulting in personal injury or property damage. It is forbidden to make any modifications to the pallet truck.
