- Wear gloves when touching the hot grill grid.
In charcoal operation:
- Use only firelighters complying with EN 1860-3!
- Replace batteries only when grill has completely cooled down.
- Do not use spirit or gasoline to light up or relight!
- Let the grill cool off entirely before cleaning.
- To extinguish glowing charcoal, never pour water into the charcoal container.
- Before use, the grill must be placed on a stable surface.
- Use barbecue tongs. We recommend using LotusGrill accessories.
- Never leave the hot grill unattended.
- If you grill food that is very fatty, make sure that the inner bowl is emptied
regularly.
In charcoal operation:
- Test the batteries before each use.
- Do not replace dead batteries while using the grill.
In gas operation:
- Every time, before you insert the gas burner container and the valve, check
the seals carefully for possible damage or wear. Replace as necessary.
- Never pour water into the gas burner container in order to extinguish the gas
flame.
