B9. The grill is now ready to be lit up.
B10. Turn the control knob 1.5 turns in the "+" direction or counterclockwise and immediately light the
gas with a stick lighter or long match. To do this, hold the lighter close to the gas burner container (5).
B11. Put the grill grid (1) on top of the inner bowl (5). Make sure to insert the four metal legs into the
slots of the inner bowl (5). Both metal loops on the side of the grill grid (1) have to be aligned with the
latches (8).
B12. Hook the latches into the metal loops, and press the loops down to lock the device. The entire
table-top grill is now a connected and compact unit.
B13. After about a minute, the grill is ready for use. To regulate the heat, use the control knob (16) on
the valve. The control knob remains open throughout the entire barbecue session.
B14. To end the barbecue session: turn the control knob fully towards or clockwise.
B15. When you unscrew the valve, please put the silicone plug back into the
gas connection. The silicone stopper prevents small particles such as sand from entering the gas
path.
Replacing the Gas Cartridge
C1. Change the gas cartridge outdoors and away from other people.
C2. Check that the burner is extinguished before removing the gas cartridge.
C3. Check that the valve is closed, i.e. the control knob (16) has been turned completely in the
"-" direction or clockwise.
C4. Hold on to the adapter (17) and turn the gas cartridge counterclockwise until it becomes
unscrewed from the adapter. Small, harmless amounts of gas may escape from the hose.
C5. Check the seals before connecting a new gas cartridge to the device.
C6. Place the new gas cartridge on the adapter (17), check that the thread engages and turn the gas
cartridge (not the adapter) clockwise until it is hand-tight.
