Assembly and Instructions for Use
A. Charcoal Operation
A1. Open the battery case (12) in the bottom of the outer bowl (7). Insert four (4) AA batteries (11). Pay
attention to the polarity. Close the battery case.
A2. Check that slider A (18) "GAS PORT" is in the "CLOSED" position and that slider B (19) is in the
"FOR CHARCOAL" position. This means that the gas connection is disabled.
A3. Place the inner bowl (6) back into the outer bowl (7).
A4. Fill the charcoal container (3) completely with charcoal e. g. LotusGrill Beech Charcoal* and put
the cover on the charcoal container (2).
A5. Apply an approximately 10mm wide ring of grill lighter gel around the center hole of the lighter bowl
(4) and place the lighter bowl (4) on the inner bowl (6). We recommend LotusGrill Safety Fuel Gel.
A6. Turn on the round on/off switch (9) on outer bowl and, at first, turn the control to the highest level
(to the right).

CAUTION
A7. Light the gel until it burns.
A8. Place the filled charcoal container (3) with cover (2) on the ignition plate (4).
Within a very short time the charcoal begins to glow.
CAUTION
A9. Put the grill grid (1) on top of the inner bowl (5). Make sure to insert the four metal legs into the
slots of the inner bowl (5). Both metal loops on the side of the grill grid (1) have to be aligned with the
latches (8).
A10. Hook the latches into the metal loops, and press the loops down to lock the device. The entire
table-top grill is now a connected and compact unit.
A11. After about 3-4 minutes LotusGrill Hybrid
the heat. The ventilation remains on during the entire barbecue session.
Using the USB Power Cable
The grill can be operated either with batteries or with the included USB power cable and a
USB power adapter (not included). As soon as the round connector is plugged into the grill,
the battery compartment is disconnected.

The ventilation must be switched on so that the flame does not suffocate
when lighting up.

The USB power cable cannot be used to charge rechargeable batteries
or accumulators.
* Any common type of charcoal can be used.
