USING THE MULTIMEDIA REMOTE CONTROL
Operates your TV, VCR, DVD, Cable converter box, and Satellite Receiver. To program
the remote control, see pages 9 -- 11.
INSTALL BATTERIES AS SHOWN
(2 AA, not included)
Notes:
Do not mix old batteries with new ones o1"mix different types of
batteries together.
Remove the batteries if the remote control will not be used for a
month or more. Weak batteries may leak and cause damage.
(Normal battery life is roughly six months.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: Spent or discharged batteries must be recycled or disposed
of properly in compliance with all applicable laws. For detailed information

REMOTE CONTROL KEYS
@Mode Keys--Use keys to program
these the
remote control and to select the operating mode
(VCR, T_ C>IBLE, DVD, 5:4T, or A55Y). To
Operate Your... VC_Press the VCR key;
Television Press the TV key; (?able Bo_Press
the CABLE key; DVD Player Press the DVD key;
and Satellite Receiver
Press the SAT key.
Note: Make sure you hold down the mode key
while entering a code ]lumber, see page 9.

modes,
key selects the program source to display on the
screen (TV signal or signal from equipment con-
neeted to the AV jacks). In the VCR mode, this key
functions as a VCR's TVVCR key.
Number Keys--Two keys must pressed to

a channel. Example: Press 0 then 6 to select channel
6. For cable channels 100 through 125, press and
hold the 1 key until C1 appears. Then press the
other two numbers.
