Advice
The part "Spoiler for the 5th door", ordering No. Škoda FAA 710 002 is intended solely for
the professional fitting by contractual partners of Škoda Auto. The fitting requires the use of
special tools and workshop manuals, because of that this part must not be sold to final users
in a not mounted state.
The part is made of the material >PUR<. The manufacturer supplies it to Škoda Auto without
the surface finish with preparation for painting.
For possible subsequent painting of this part (at customer's wish), it is necessary to observe
the instructions of the paint manufacturer with regard to painting of >PUR<. Please observe
the principles of safety at work when painting!

Warning. The gluing cement (C) is not included in the delivery and it must be ordered
separately under order number HHA 381 015 – Terostat MS 930 gluing cement.
Fitting procedure
- When preparing the spoiler for gluing, lay the part always upon a soft clean pad, in order to
avoid any damage.
- In order to provide for high-quality gluing of the spoiler on the bodywork, make sure that
the surrounding working temperature is in the range of 15-30°C. Make sure that the parts
are not exposed to direct solar radiation.

- Open the 5 door of the vehicle and clean and degrease the surface for gluing the
self-adhesive label carefully with a suitable de-greaser.
- Glue the self-adhesive label (B) approximately on the place according to the picture.

- Clean and degrease well the surface of the 5
de-greaser. Once the respective surfaces have been cleaned, do not touch it any more.

- Rough the groove on the whole spoiler circumference intended for gluing carefully with
abrasive paper and clean it with a suitable de-greaser.
- Warning! The gluing surface must be completely free of grease, residues of paint and
basic coating!
