INSTALL TOW HITCH
1.
Raise hitch into position and install the supplied M14 hex bolts, lock washers, and flat washers into bottom four (4) existing weldnuts in frame. See figure 4.
2.
Re-install spare tire cradle using supplied 7/16" carriage bolt, conical toothed washer, and hex nut.
3.
Re-install the step bumper using the original four (4) M14 side attachment fasteners and (2) M14 hex nuts. Reinstall plastic guide tube for spare tire mechanism aligning
rearward end of tube with step bumper.
4.
Reconnect all electrical wiring harness plugs. Secure with cable ties as needed.
5.
Re-install and raise spare tire back into position.
6.
Return vehicle tow hitch / bumper support and bottom four (4) M14 factory bolts to vehicle owner.
7. Tighten all M14 CL10.9 fasteners with torque wrench to 100 Lb.-Ft. (136 N*M)
8. Tighten 7/16-14 GR5 fasteners with torque wrench to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N*M)
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which
has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. This product complies with safety
specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.

For additional security, thread locker can be used on all fasteners.
