4.2 Positioning appliance for customer
Positioning the appliance
1. Adjust the appliance to required height:
•
Position the appliance centrally over the forehead/nape of the neck so that the
head piece 1 covers the customer's hair.
•
The face and eyes must be outside the head piece 1.
•
The distance between curlers and hairdryer dome 2 should be equal on all
sides.
To ensure customer comfort
•
For sensitive customers, turn down the temperature and airflow as described
in "Section 4.5" page 41.
•
Inform your customer that she can stop treatment by pushing up the head
piece 1 using both hands and moving out of the appliance to the front.
4.3 Rules when working
To ensure safe operation of the appliance – and to protect you and your clients
from harm – the safety instructions in section 2 must be read and followed when
using the appliance.
If you have not yet read section 2, please read the safety instructions now before
using the appliance.
Important information on treatment time, temperature and airflow
•
You, the qualified hairdresser, are responsible for the selected treatment time,
temperature and airflow.
•
The development time of the products also depends on the treatment
temperature selected and must be taken into account by you, a qualified
hairdresser, when deciding on the temperature level according to the product
used.

Please also take note of the manufacturer's instructions on the products used.

Please remember that heat may change the development times of the
products.
•
You should always keep an eye on the treatment result already achieved.
4.4 Switching on appliance

• Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
• Protect the appliance from splashing.
