MAINTENANCE
6.1 Routine maintenance
WARNING!
•
Before any routine maintenance operations, switch the engine off and wear protective gloves.
•
In order not to inhale vapours, wear a protective mask and direct the muffler outlet downwards.
Routine maintenance operations can be carried out by the operators.
6.1.1
Engine lubrication (when indicated)

See the enclosed manual.
6.1.2
Cleaning and storing
At the end of the work session, before storing the tool for a period of time, carry out the following operations:
•
Clean the tool up and lubricate its moving parts.
WARNING!
Do not scatter the oil in the environment. Dispose of it according to the Laws of the country where the tool is used.
6.2 Special maintenance
WARNING!
Any special maintenance operation shall be carried out by one of the Manufacturer's Authorized Service Points only.
The special maintenance operations shall be carried out by qualified personnel with electric or
electronic competences
.

General warnings
Before any maintenance operations:

Switch the engine off.

Wear protective gloves.

Engine maintenance
•
See the enclosed engine manual.
6.2.3
Gearbox maintenance
•
For the gearbox maintenance, take the tool to an Authorized Service Point.
6.3 Periodic maintenance schedule
Maintenance
Check the screws for proper tightening.
Clean the engine air filter.
