WARNING:
• The FT 90 thermometer is only designed for the measuring point on the human
body stated in the instructions for use.
• The device is only intended for the purpose stated in these instructions for use.
• Children must not be allowed to use the device. Medical products are no toys.
• The device has been designed for practical use, but is not a substitute for a
visit to the doctor.
• Should you have any questions about using the device, please contact either
your retailer or Customer Services.
• Packaging materials are a deadly hazard for children and can cause suff oca-
tion. Remove all packaging materials immediately and keep them away from
children at all times.
• Swallowing batteries and/or battery fl uid can be extremely dangerous. Keep
the battery out of the reach of children. Should a child, or any other person
swallow a battery and/or battery fl uid, please call 911 immediately.
• Should battery fl uid leak and come into contact with your eyes or skin, immedi-
ately rinse with plenty of clean water. Please call 911 immediately.
• Batteries should not be charged or reactivated by any other means.
• Batteries should not be taken apart, thrown in the fi re or short circuited.
CAUTION:
• Check before each use that the measuring sensor is intact. If it is damaged,
please contact your retailer or the service address.
• This unit is intended for home use only. It is not intended for professional use
in hospitals or other medical facilities. This unit does not support the standards
required for professional use.
• If a battery has leaked do not touch the battery fluid. Avoid skin contact (e.g. put on
protective gloves) and clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
• Do not disassemble this unit.
