For cover binding using a Perfectback™-TA strip
only:
8b. Pick up your bound document from the cooling rack.
Peel
off the release papers from the spine, fi rst from one
side of
the book and then from the other side. (fi gure 20)
9b. Assemble your document inside the scored cover,
make
sure the front cover and spine edge correspond with
the front of your document.
10b. Place the whole cover/document assembly inside
the
binder and press the BIND button to close the
book
clamps. (fi gure 21b)
11b.
As soon as the book clamps open, tamp down
the pages
one last time for a more securely bound book. Then
transfer the book to the cooling rack for a few
minutes.
HINT: Rest the book directly against the cooling rack.
If there are other books there, it should be placed at
the back of the stack instead of in front of another
book. (fi g 23)
TIP: If the pages have not cooled straight, use the EDIT
mode and tamp them down.
12b. Trim the book edges as desired.
