The Ingecon
Sun Smart TL inverters are equipped with an automatic disconnection (and reconnection) device which

complies with all the requirements of the applicable safety standards. The user has the possibility of manually discon-
necting the inverter from the power grid, through the front display. This Run / Stop status will not change, even if the
inverter shuts down.

1.2. Compliance with standards and regulations
These inverter models can be equipped with kits to adapt them to the standards and regulations in all European
countries and also those of other continents.
For projects in the United States or Canada, INGETEAM ENERGY has developed the Ingecon
family, which has its own manual.
1.2.1. CE Marking
The Ingecon
Sun Smart TL bear the CE marking, being compliant with the following directives:

Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/CE.
•
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2004/108/CE.
For compliance with each directive, it is sufficient to comply with those parts of the appropriate harmonised standards
that are applicable to the Ingecon
Low Voltage Directive
The Ingecon
Sun Smart TL are compliant with the Low Voltage directive through compliance with the applicable parts
®
of harmonised standard EN 50178 Electronic equipment for use in power installations.
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive
The Ingecon
Sun Smart TL are compliant with this directive by compliance with the applicable parts of the following
®
harmonised standards:
•
EN 61000-6-2 EMC. Part 6-2: Generic Standards - Immunity for Industrial Environments.
•
EN 61000-6-3 EMC. Part 6-3: Generic Standards - Emission for residential, commercial and light industrial
environments.
Compliance with these standards makes it necessary to comply with limits and procedures from other standards in
the same series.
1.2.2. VDE0126-1-1 Disconnection device
In countries such as Germany, Portugal and France, the incorporation of a device of this type ensures compliance with
the existing standards and legislation in force for micro-generation and PV systems. Consequently, the Ingecon
Smart TL inverters comply with standard:

VDE 0126-1-1 Automatic disconnection device for generating systems connected in parallel to the low
voltage grid.
Compliance with this standard must be requested when the order is placed.
1.2.3. Connection regulations for the ENEL Distribuzione grid
In Italy, in order to connect to the ENEL company grid, the equipment must be compliant with the standards and
regulations required by this company.
