4.4.2 Description
Terminal –> Device – General device settings
Select language.
Possible languages: English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Korean, Chinese.
This menu item is displayed only on devices in mains operation.
When Sleep is activated, the device switches off both display and backlighting when
not in use for the set period of time and gross weight is zero. Display and back-lighting
are switched on again when a key is pressed or when weight is loaded on the scale.
Possible settings: Off, 1 min, 3 min, 5 min, 15 min, 30 min (approximate values).
This menu item is displayed only on devices in battery operation mode.
When Power Off is activated, the device switches off automatically when not in use for
the set period of time. To switch the scale back on again, press

Set the contrast of the display.
Possible settings: 1 ... 5... 10
Set the brightness of the display.
Possible settings: 1 ... 5... 10
Determine if the background lighting is to be switched off and after which period of
time.
By default, devices with a battery switch off the background lighting automatically
when no action takes place on the device for approx. 5 seconds.
Possible settings: Off (no background lighting), 5 sec, 10 sec, 30 sec, 1 min, On
(background lighting always on) (approximate time values).
Determine how long the weighing result is displayed on the screen after
or auto print is generated.
Possible settings: 0 s ... 10 s.
