4. Assembly/adjustments
With a little technical skill, you can carry out the adjustments on your
wheelchair yourself. To do this, you need an Allen wrench set with sizes
from 3 mm to 6 mm and ring spanners SW10, SW13. If you have any
questions, you can contact your specialist dealer.

4.1. Folding and unfolding
Unfolding
3
Place your wheelchair next to you. Tip it towards you until the load is
taken off one driving wheel (Fig. 3). Now press on the seat tube nearest
to you with the flat of your hand to unfold the wheelchair (Fig. 4).

Folding
Place your B+B wheelchair next to you. Tip it by pulling the backrest
towards you until the load is taken off the opposite driving wheel.
At the same time, pull the seat cushion upwards until the chair is
completely folded (Fig. 5).

Please be careful with your fingers when making
adjustments. Risk of becoming trapped!
When unfolding, please make sure your fingers
remain on the seat belt. Otherwise there is a risk of
becoming trapped.
To avoid injuries, do not hold the wheelchair at the
armrest while tilting. If leg rests are fitted, the foot
plates should be folded up first.

4.2. Leg rests with footrest and calf
pad
Both leg rests are supplied with the foot plates and and heel straps
fitted. The foot plates on both leg rests can be folded upwards in the
sitting position.
4.2.1. Fitting the leg rests
•
Hold the upper part of the leg rest so that it points outwards
(Fig 7). Insert the left rest into the hole in the frame with the guide
profile (Fig. 6).
•
The leg rest is now simply turned forward, which locks it
automatically into place.
Check that the foot rests are firmly attached before
setting off.
4.2.2. Swinging the leg rests
out of the way
To make it as easy as possible to get into or out of the B+B folding
wheelchair, if necessary you can simply swing the leg rests out of the
way, either outwards or inwards, without having to remove them.
Pull the handle. This will open the locking mechanism (Fig. 7).
Now you can swing the leg rest away, outwards or inwards (Fig. 8).
If necessary, fold the foot plates upwards first.
To return to the original position, swing the leg rest forwards until it
locks into place.
