When pressing the rotary selector [8] the active marker is located over a
maximum of the visualised trace level.

4.2.2 SPAN control:

When pressing SPAN key (3) the SPAN field on the screen is highlighted in red
colour.
The equipment allows to select between 6 ranges of sweeping (SPAN 10, 20, 50,
100, 200 and 400 nm). In order to select the desired range, press successively the
SPAN (3) key or introduce the numerical value by means of the keyboard [7] and later
validate it by pressing the rotary selector [8].
When changing the SPAN, the visualized trace is located in the center of the
screen over wavelength (λ) pointed by the MKR1.
