How to operate with (TRACES)
1. Press
[4] to activate Trace field.
2. At the right side of the screen there is a column with 11 coloured small squares.
Each coloured square corresponds to one coloured trace.
(0) Square: Corresponds to the data trace (in green colour). This trace is always the
measured input signal and it is updated after each scan.
Pressing the
to select different types of measurement: SIGNAL -> MAX. HOLD -> MIN. HOLD -
> AVERAGE -> ...
The selected mode will be displayed into the measurement screen except for
SIGNAL mode (normal operation).
(1)-(9) Squares: Correspond to memorised traces. It is possible to copy the data
trace (0) to anyone of this other traces (from 1 to 9).
The process is easy. Always with the Trace field active (in red colour), press the
rotary selector [8] simultaneously with the numerical key [7]. For example, if you
press the rotary selector [8] + key number (7), the trace (7) will take the same value
that the data trace (0).
Anyone of the memorised trace can be displayed or removed on screen simply by
pressing the corresponding numeric key.
(*) Square: Corresponds to relative trace which allow memorise the difference
between the data trace (0) and the active trace. In order to visualize this trace,
select any trace form (1) to (9) and press the (
How to operate with (AMPLITUDE)
1. Press
[5] to active Scale field.
2. Select 10 dB/div or 2 dB/div using the alphanumeric keypad [7] or with the same
[5] key.
3. In 10 dB/div mode, will appear two horizontal dotted-lines indicating the view screen
area at 2 dB/div.
