Application in accordance with EN 358.
WARNING: Working position harnesses or restraint systems are not
suitable for fall arrest purposes. They restrict the movement of the user
so that a fall cannot occur.
For work positioning (2.8/2.9), attach the carabiner to the side
attachment points (both are always to be used) of the safety harness
(e.g. EN 358), or, in a restraint system, to the single dorsal
attachment point (2.6).
When using in a restraint system, the carabiner of the free rope end
must be attached to an anchor point (2.6).
It must not be possible to reach the fall edge When using as a work
arrest lanyard, additional PFPE must be used.
ATTENTION: When working in areas where there is a risk of falling,
the safety harness must always be a fall arrest harness. We also
recommend that when working in a fall restraint situation, a fall arrest
harness is worn and that for safety reasons, the use of a simple work
positioning harness is avoided.
During use (e.g. on lifting platforms (2.10)), work positioning
lanyards need to be so tightly adjusted that freedom of movement is
limited to 60 cm in all directions. There must be no slack. The
anchor-/attachment point must always be at or above waist height to
ensure that the work positioning lanyard always remains tight, and
any possible fall on the lanyard is as short as possible (2.8 + 2.9).
3.) Inspect before use (3.1–3.5)

any of these, immediately replace/dispose of the product.
3.3) If severely damaged, the product must be replaced/disposed of.
3.4) Ensure the carabiner is securely and properly locked.
