Setting a blind rivet nut

Insert the correctly fitted nut as far as it will go into the hole of the workpiece using the
riveting tool.
Start the setting sequence by pressing switch 9.
Caution: Hold down switch 9 until the setting sequence is stopped and the screw-off
sequence is started automatically. Switch 9 can then be released.
Caution!
Faulty setting sequence with error message E1:
If the setting process is interrupted by prematurely releasing the switch before the defined
setting force is reached, the setting process is stopped and the tool reverts to front end
position automatically, and the threaded mandrel is unscrewed from the incorrectly set
nut. Error message „E1" is indicated on the display. The error is indicated both visually
and acoustically by means of a rapidly flashing light ring 8 and rapid beeping. Operation
of the tool can only resume once the error and the associated indicators are acknow-
ledged by pressing the S button (> 1 sec.).
rS (reSet) will then be shown on the display. In this mode, the incorrectly set nut can be
adjusted at reduced speed until it is set correctly. To do this, screw in the previously set
nut again (see Section 4.1) and hold down switch 9 again until the screw-off sequence is
started automatically. After the one-off rS setting sequence, the previously defined value
for the setting force is displayed again on the display 7.
Caution!
Adjustment of one or more blind rivet nuts
If one or more nuts have been set with a force value that is too low, these nuts can be
adjusted in rr (reWork) mode.
However, it is important to derive the correct numerical value for the setting force first and
correct it on the display (see Section 3.3).
Then hold down the S button and skip Px until the rr indicator appears on the display 7.
Then all incorrectly set nuts can be adjusted using the corrected setting-force value while
the corresponding nuts are screwed in again and another setting sequence is started by
pressing the switch 9 until the beginning of the automatic screw-off sequence.
When all blind rivet nuts have been adjusted, you can switch back to normal mode by
pressing the S button again.
