• Incorrect use and other uses than the
intended purposes;
• Repairs performed at unauthorised

• Tampering with the power cord;
• Tampering with any part of the machine;
• Use of spare parts and accessories which
are not original;
• No water softening;
• Storage at temperatures below 0°C;
• Use of other capsules than the Lavazza
BLUE ones.
In any of these cases, the warranty is
cancelled.

STARTING THE MACHINE

Place the machine on a flat, horizontal and
stable surface, away from water, flames and
heat sources.
Disconnect the power supply if any. When
the machine is on, it should never be covered
with towels or other things.

The use of a water filter (optional accessory im-
proves the quality of the water and extends the
life of the machine.
Use the AquaAroma Crema
Brita® filter for Lavazza.
To introduce the filter,
follow the instructions
sheet attached to the
accessory.
It is recommended not
to change the already
set selection of the filter.

Fill the water tank to the indicated MAX level,

using only non-carbonated fresh drinking water.
The cover can be lifted to fill the tank directly.
The water level should never exceed the MAX
indication and it must always be maintained
above MIN. Use only fresh drinking water.
Hot water and other liquids can damage the
tank.
The machine does not work with a water lev-
el below the minimum level: make sure that
the water is above the MIN level indicated.
Make sure that the hands, the machine, the
cord and the support surface of the machine
are not wet.
Plug the power cord into the jack on the back of

the machine. Insert the plug into the socket.
Press the power button into position I. The green

signal light of the machine flashes. Wait until the
four central buttons indicated in Figure A light.
Now the machine is ready for use.
