Intended use

The facepieces protect the face and eyes from aggressive media.

Limitations on use

WARNING
!
Beards and sideburns in the sealing area of the full face mask
will cause leakages! Therefore the full face mask should not
be used by anyone with facial hair of this sort. Earpieces in
the sealing area also cause leakages. Use special mask
spectacles.

Approvals

The full face masks are approved according to:
 EN 136:1998 CL.3+
 (EU) 2016/425
The mask/helmet combinations are also approved according to:
 DIN 58610
Declaration of conformity: see www.draeger.com/product-certificates
Both versions meet the flame engulfment requirements stipulated in
EN 137.
Dräger FPS 7000 P and Dräger FPS 7000 RA facepieces comply with
the U.S. NIOSH regulations.
Dräger FPS 7000 RA facepieces are approved according to AS/
NZS 1716:2012 in Australia and New Zealand.

Full face masks must not be retrofitted to a mask-helmet
combination. Strictly follow the corresponding instructions for
use of the helmet.
The facepieces may only be used with approved SCBAs, powered air
purifying respirators, airline equipment or respiratory filters.
The full face masks are tested in accordance with 2014/34/EU for use
in hazardous areas and can be used in the following zones:
Full face masks with PC visor
I M1
II 1 G IIB T6 –30 °C ≤ Ta ≤ +60 °C
II 1D
Full face masks with PCas or PCaf visor
I M1
II 1G IIC T6 –30 °C ≤ Ta ≤ +60 °C
II 1D
Only use mask/helmet combinations with a water screen when in
hazardous areas.
