WARNING
CLEANING THE BURNERS
1. Ensure the gas is turned OFF at the LP cylinder.
2. Remove the cooking griddle and grease cup.
3. Clean the inside of the burner using a stiff wire brush. A straightened metal coat hanger will also work. An
alternative is to use compressed air. Always wear eye protection if using this method. Take care to avoid
altering the burner ports during cleaning.
4. Brush the outer surface of the burner.
5. Ensure all burner ports (holes) are free of debris.
6. Inspect the burners. Replace any burner that has cracks or enlarged ports.
7. Reinstall the burners, making sure the burners seat properly over the valves.
8. Secure the back of the burners to the firebox.
9. Replace the grease cup and cooking griddle.
10. Perform a Leak Test as instructed on p.7.
GRIDDLE STORAGE
1. Clean your griddle before storage.
2. Storage of a gas griddle indoors is permissible only if the propane cylinder is disconnected and removed
from the griddle.
3. Cover the griddle.
4. Follow all instructions for set-up, cleaning, and performing a Leak Test before using the griddle after it has
been in storage for an extended period of time.

NOTE: The assembly and use of this griddle must conform to local codes. In absence of local codes, use the Natural Gas
and LP Instruction Code.

PREPARATION
Before starting to assemble the griddle, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with the Parts List on page 38
and Parts Diagram on page 41. If any parts are missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product and contact
Customer Service.
