DANGER
• NEVER store a spare LP cylinder under or near the
appliance or in an enclosed area.
• An overfilled or improperly stored cylinder is a hazard due to
possible gas release from the safety relief valve. This could
result in an intense fire with risk of property damage, serious
injury, or death.
DANGER
If you see, smell, or hear gas escaping:
• Shut off the LP supply to the appliance.
• Extinguish any open flame.
• Carefully open the lid.
• If the odor continues, stay away from the appliance and
immediately call your LP gas supplier or local fire department.
DANGER
If the flames go out while operating the griddle:
• Turn the burner controls to the OFF position.
• Carefully open the lid.
• Wait 5 minutes and repeat the lighting procedure.
If the burner goes out, LP will continue to flow out
of the burner and could accidentally ignite with
the risk of serious injury.

GREASE FIRES
• Putting out grease fires by simply closing the lid is not
possible. Griddles are well ventilated for safety reasons.
• DO NOT use water on a grease fire. Personal injury may
result. If a grease fire develops, turn the griddle's control
knob(s) and the LP cylinder OFF.
• If griddle has not been routinely cleaned, a grease fire can
occur that may damage the product. Pay close attention
while preheating or burning off food residue to help prevent
grease fires.
• The best way to prevent grease fires is to regularly clean
the griddle, following the instructions found on p. 10.
Some parts of this griddle may contain sharp edges. Use of
protective gloves during assembly and cleaning is
recommended.
