CAUTION
1. NEVER attempt to attach this griddle to the self-contained LP system of a camper trailer, motor home, or house. This
griddle is not intended for use in or on recreational vehicles and/or boats.
2. NEVER use charcoal or lighter fluid with an LP griddle.
3. DO NOT use gasoline, kerosene, or alcohol for lighting.
4. Use only LP cylinders constructed and marked in accordance with the specification for LP cylinders of the U.S.
Department of Transportation (DOT) or the National Standard of Canada CAN/CSA-B339, Cylinder, Spheres, and
Tubes for Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
5. DO NOT attempt to move the griddle while it is operating.
6. DO NOT use the griddle unless it is completely assembled as instructed and all parts are securely fastened and
tightened.
7. Keep all combustible items and surfaces at least 91cm (36") away from the griddle at all times.
8. DO NOT use this griddle, or any LP product, near unprotected combustible buildings and materials.
9. DO NOT use in the presence of volatile materials and vapors. Keep the griddle area clear and free from combustible
materials, gasoline, and other flammable vapors and liquids.
10. DO NOT touch any metal parts of the griddle until it has completely cooled (about 45 minutes) to avoid burns, unless
you are wearing protective gear (oven mitt, pot holders, etc.).
11. DO NOT alter this griddle in any manner.
12. Clean and inspect the griddle's LP supply hose before each use. If there is evidence of abrasion, wear, cuts, or leaks,
call Customer Service to obtain a replacement supply hose.
13. Move LP supply hoses as far away as possible from hot surfaces and hot dripping grease.
14. Keep the griddle's valve compartment, burners, and circulating air passages clean. Inspect these griddle components
before each use.
GENERAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS
Your griddle has been designed and manufactured to high-quality standards. It will provide you with many years of
enjoyment with a minimal amount of maintenance.
1. Your griddle requires reasonable care and attention during operation. It will be hot during cooking. You should never
leave the griddle unattended or move the griddle when in use.
2. Ensure your griddle is on level ground and the locking casters are locked before use.
3. DO NOT lean over the griddle or touch the edges of the firebox when in use.
4. DO NOT obstruct the flow of combustion and ventilation air to the griddle (See p. 8).
5. Keep the ventilation openings of the cylinder cart underneath the griddle free and clear from debris.
6. DO NOT put a griddle cover or other flammable material in the storage area of this griddle.
7. DO NOT use charcoal briquettes, lava rock, or any type of ceramic product in the LP section of this griddle.
CYLINDER SPECIFICATIONS
When purchasing or exchanging a cylinder for your LP griddle, it must be constructed and marked in accordance with the
specifications for LP cylinders of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) or the National Standard of Canada CAN/
CSA-B339, Cylinder, Spheres, and Tubes for Transportation of Dangerous Goods; be equipped with a listed overfilling
prevention device (OPD); and be equipped with a cylinder connection device compatible with outdoor cooking appliances.
