Allowable environmental conditions
Temperature range for use: –10 °C to +45 °C
Storage and transport criteria: –20 °C to +60 °C, relative humidity
20% to 90%
Chemicals/moisture: fresh water, salt water, perspiration, urine,
soapsuds, chlorine water
Protection against moisture: Submersion: max. 1 h in 3 m depth, relat­
ive humidity: no restrictions
Solids: Dust, occasional contact with sand
Clean the product after contact with humidity/chemicals/solids, in
order to avoid increased wear and damage (see Page 22).
Prohibited environmental conditions
Storage and transport criteria: Mechanical vibrations or impacts
Solids: Highly hygroscopic particles (e.g. talcum), continuous contact
with sand
Chemicals/moisture: Acids, continuous use in liquid media

2.4 Service life

Prosthetic foot
This product has been tested by the manufacturer with 2 million load cycles
according to ISO 22675. Depending on the patient's activity level, this cor­
responds to a service life of 2 to 3 years.
Footshell, protective sock
The product is a wear part, which means it is subject to normal wear and
tear.
