13.0 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
To guarantee the efficiency and correct functioning of the
machine, it is essential to carry out daily or weekly clean-
ing and weekly routine maintenance, as described be-
low.
Cleaning and routine maintenance must be conducted
by authorized personnel and according to the instruc-
tions given below.
• Disconnect the mains power supply before starting
any cleaning or routine maintenance operations.
• Remove deposits of tyre powder and other waste ma-
terials with a vacuum cleaner.
DO NOT BLOW IT WITH COMPRESSED AIR.
• Do not use solvents to clean the oil/pressure regula-
tor.
• The condensation in the pressure regulator reservoir
must be drained daily. Press the connector at the bot-
tom of the regulator to discharge the water. (See Fig.
47).
• Periodically check the calibration of lubricator in pres-
sure/oiler gauge unit: one oil drop every 11-15 revolu-
tions of self-centering chuck motor.
• Periodically check the calibration of lubricator
located on beading-out device: one oil drop every com-
plete motion (forward/back) of beading-out device top
and lower arms.

IN ORDER TO ALLOW A LONGER
LIFE OF THE FILTER AND OF
ALL MOVING PNEUMATIC DE-
VICES, YOU HAVE TO MAKE
SURE THAT THE SUPPLIED AIR
IS:
• EXEMPT FROM THE LUBRI-
CATING OIL OF THE COM-
PRESSOR;
• EXEMPT FROM HUMIDITY;
• EXEMPT FROM IMPURITY.

• Every week and/or when necessary, top up the oil tank
using the filler hole provided closed by a cap or screw
on the lubricator filter.
N.B: This operation should not be carried out by
unscrewing the cup of the lubricator filter.
• The use of synthetic oil may damage the pressure regu-
lator filter.
• Lubricate weekly the 5 points shown in the lubrica-
tion plan on the relevant plate on the machine.
• Replace worn out parts immediately, for example:
bead-breaker rollers, lever protector, mounting tool.
• Periodically, at least once every two months, check the
conditions of the rubber protections at point 3.0 Safety
devices. In case of need, replace the damaged parts
requiring them to the manufacturer.
• Periodically (at least every 100 working hours) control
the lubricating level on the reduction gear (Fig. 48 pos.
1). To carry out this operation, remove the plug (Fig.
48 pos. 3), placed on the proper hole on the frame
and removing the plug (Fig. 48 pos. 2) placed on the
reducer.
THE MANUFACTURER DOES NOT
ACCEPT ANY DAMAGE RESULT-
ING FROM THE FRAILURE TO
