99B25 Tube Sock, 99B81=70X19X5 and 99B81=100X19X5 PVA Bags,
627B4 Polyethylene Adhesive Tape, 85H11=* Pastasil, 616B1=50x* Car
bon Fibre Cloth Strap, 616G2 Carbon UD Hose, 616G15 Carbon Fibre
Woven Hose, 623T3=12 Perlon Stockinette, 617H119 Orthocryl Lamina
tion Resin 80:20 PRO, String
1) Pull on the shorter soaked PVA bag.
2) Tie the PVA bag at both ends and establish a vacuum (see Fig. 14).
3) Heat the PVA bag with a blow drier above the pin receiver so that the
film becomes more rigid (see Fig. 15).
4) Cut off the PVA bag directly above the pin receiver.
5) Tape the resulting opening crosswise with 3 strips of polyethylene
adhesive tape in each direction (see Fig. 16).
6) Cut a cross in the polyethylene adhesive tape above the thread of the pin
receiver (see Fig. 17).
7) Isolate the countersunk head screw of the dummy set with wax.
8) Position the lamination disc on the model and secure it on the pin receiv
er with the countersunk head screw (see Fig. 18).
9) Cover the head of the countersunk head screw with Pastasil.
10) Fill the undercut between the model and lamination disc with Pastasil
(see Fig. 19).
11) Pull a tube sock over the model.
12) Place a layer of carbon fibre cloth strap circularly around the MPT (mid-
patella-tendon) point (see Fig. 20).
13) Position a layer of carbon fibre cloth strap medially and laterally from the
lamination disc up to the condyles (see Fig. 21).
14) Anteriorly and posteriorly, attach a layer of carbon fibre cloth strap from
the lamination disc to the circle formed by the carbon fibre cloth strap
(see Fig. 21).
15) Pull a tube sock over the model.
16) Loop a piece of string around the lamination disc in the groove and tie
tightly (see Fig. 22).
17) Cut off a piece of carbon fibre woven hose (1.3 times the length of the
model).
18) Pull the carbon fibre woven hose over the model to the edge (see
Fig. 23).
19) Tie off the carbon fibre woven hose in the groove of the lamination disc
and fold it back over the model (see Fig. 24).
20) Pull a tube sock over the model.
