Once you perceive these signals, you have successfully activated the Purple Profile. The signal
transmission stops as soon as you release the direct start button.
In order to return to the Blue Profile, press the direct start button again for 2 seconds until you
preceive these signals:

6 Maintenance and Care

With the E-MAG Control you have acquired a modern electronic device. In order to benefit from this
sophisticated technology for as long as possible, please observe the following instructions.
Maintenance
Have your E-MAG Control checked for any wear inside the lock, as well as for proper function
of the electronic components by your orthotist every six months.
Care
1. Keep your orthosis away from environments with high humidity. Use a slightly moistened cloth
to clean the orthosis, E-MAG Control or any of the components from outside.
2. Since the E-MAG Control is a closed locking system, clothing fibers cannot get into the mecha-
nism. However, please observe the maintenance intervals of six months, because particulate
matter can settle in the electronics and mechanism and can disturb the E-MAG Control.
