Cleaning
•
DO NOT immerse cord, plug, or slow cooker base in water.
•
Always unplug unit from the power outlet before performing any maintenance or
cleaning.
•
Allow slow cooker to cool completely before submerging the ceramic crocks or lids
in water, or before storing the unit.

Unplug unit from outlet and allow it to cool completely.

The crock and glass lid are both dishwasher safe. To clean by hand, wash the
ceramic crocks, glass lids, and lid rests in warm, soapy water.

If food is stuck to the ceramic crock, fill it will warm, soapy water and allow to
soak, but do not soak entire crock in water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Use a soft, moistened cloth with a mild soap to clean the base. Never use abrasive
cleaners or scouring pads to clean the base, as it may damage the surfaces.
Storage
•
Be sure all parts of the slow cooker are clean and dry before storing.
•
Store slow cooker in its box or in a clean, dry place.
•
Do not store slow cooker if it is dry or wet.
•
Do not place any heavy items on the slow cooker during storage, as it may damage the
unit.
•
Make sure the cord is stored away from metal objects. Before using, make sure there
are no metal items attached to the plug.
•
Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, keep it loosely coiled.
•
To store the slow cooker, place the ceramic crocks in the base. Place the lid rests
inside the crocks and put the lid on top of the crock. To protect the glass lid, it may be
wrapped in a soft cloth and placed upside down over the crocks.
