Safety
Prong and Cord Instructions
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord. If an extension cord is used with this product the marked
electrical rating must be at least 20 amps and 120 volts. Arrange the extension cord
so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over
or pulled. DO NOT alter the plug of the appliance or any extension cord used with this
appliance.
This appliance has a 3-prong polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This
plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not attempt to modify the plug or outlet in any way.
