Settings / Options

Setting motor power

As a rule, the factory setting must be left unchanged. In the
original setting, the door should work smoothly and it should
not stop or change its travel direction unless it encounters an
obstruction. Before carrying out any other adjustments, the
door must be checked to see if it functions smoothly and
adjusted properly if necessary.
Setting overload cut-out:
• Set both rotary potentiometers (F1 / F2) as far to the left as
possible. (Factory setting)
• Setting potentiometers F1 / F2, gradually increase by
turning to the right until the door moves smoothly to both
end positions.
If the factory settings of the overload cut-out are
changed, the maximum forces recorded must be
measured with an appropriate measurement device. The
values allowed according EN 12 453 and EN 12 445 must
be observed.
If the standard permissible values are exceeded, then
additional safety features (such as photo cell, optosensor and
safety rail) must be installed. A risk analysis must be
compiled.

Warning phase

If the warning phase is activated, activating the door operator
initially only switched on the door operator light.
4 seconds later, the motor starts running (factory setting is
0 seconds: DIP switch 3 = "OFF")
To activate the warning phase: Turn DIP switch 3 "ON"

Partial opening

The partial opening is the position in which the door remains
after resuming from the closing position. It does not function
in connection with automatic closure.
In order to execute a partial opening, a command device
(such as a wall-mounted push-button on the external terminal
2 "Partial opening") must be connected or another port of the
remote transmitter must be programmed.
Storing the partial opening function on the remote
transmitter
See Chapter on programming door operator
Setting partial opening
• Open door from the closing position with the "pulse" H key.
• When the desired partial opening is reached, stop door
operator with "pulse" H key and turn DIP switch E 4 "ON".
The partial opening position is saved.
Change preset partial opening time
• Move door to close position
• Turn switch E4 "OFF" and set partial opening as described
as above.

Automatic closure

The automatic closure closes the opened door automatically
after a freely adjustable period. (Not in connection with the
partial opening function)
The automatic closure can only be operated only in
connection with additional safety features (photo cell
/ optosensor / safety rail.
Setting automatic closure:
• Move door to the open position and after a period between
(2 sec and 8 min) after the door has closed, turn DIP switch
E5 "ON" The door operator light flashes, the door closes
4 seconds later and the set time is saved as the automatic
closure time.
Note: Changing automatic closure setting: Turn switch E5
"OFF" and set automatic closure as described above.

Light phase

The light phase is the freely adjustable period of time in which
the operator light remains on after motor operation. The
factory setting is 2 minutes.
Set light phase:
• Move door to end position ("OPEN" or "CLOSE" and after
a period of time (2 sec to 8 min) after which the light is
supposed to turn off automatically, turn DIP switch E6 "ON"
and the set time is stored.
Note: Changing light phase setting: Turn switch E6 "OFF"
and set light phase as described above.

Changing the direction of movement

Changing the direction of movement is required for double
doors and side/sectional doors
Connection
• Pull out RJ-45 plug with green bridge on the external
junction A4.
• Press "Program" B key once.
• Press "pulse" H key 6 times, and LED 7 of bar display K
flashes.
• Press "Program" B key once, the change in direction of
movement is complete and the electronic system is reset
automatically.
• Reinsert the RJ-45 plug with green bridge on the external
junction A4.
Reprogramming door operator see page 9.

Soft run

If the factory setting of (290 mm) is changed, the
operator can only be operated in connection with
additional safety features (photo cell / optosensor / safety rail.
