• Wet the tyre bead and rim profile with soap and water (Fig. 11)
using a brush.
• Using a compressor, inflate the tyre to the working pressure
shown on the tyre itself, until the two beads of the tyre engage
with the rim (Fig. 12).
Deflate the tyre almost completely (Fig. 13) and inspect the tyre by
pressing lightly with your fingers along the entire circumference to
make sure the bead is perfectly inserted.
If the tyre is not properly mounted the bead will come out of its
housing on the rim.
WARNING!
In case you are installing tubeless ready tyres, it's compulsory
to use pierce-resistant sealers. A damaged tyre could explode,
even suddenly, and cause accidents, physical injury or death.
NEVER use pierce-resistant sealers containing alkaline sub-
stances (ammonia - sodium hydroxide).
• Inflate the tyre to the pressure marked on the tyre wall.
Make sure the tyre shows a regular shape all along its circumfe-
rence.
• Close the lock ring with your fingers (C - Fig. 14).
• Screw back the valve ring (C - Fig. 14).
• Put back the valve cap (B - Fig. 14).
