Before operating the appliance, check that
the lid on the abrasive tank is closed tightly.
If the lid is not closed tightly, it may be ripped
off with force. Flying components and rapidly
escaping abrasive may cause injury.

Disconnect the appliance from the compressed
air supply before servicing it.
•
Do not use cleaning agents containing
solvents. Solvents may cause micro-cracks
in plastic and risk an explosion.
•
When installing the appliance, ensure that
it stands firmly. The ROCATEC JUNIOR must
only be operated in an upright position. If the
appliance is to be wall-mounted, an expert
must fit it to a suitable wall using the correct
screws.

Description of the Product

The ESPE ROCATEC ® -SYSTEM enables acrylic-
faced restorations to be fabricated without
the use of mechanical retainers. This permits
the available space to be used entirely for the
facing.
This system can also be used for adding the
denture acrylic to chrome cobalt frameworks and
does not leave a gap around the acrylic/metal
junctions.
We recommend the use of ESPE SINFONY
facing material because its opaquer system was
developed for this bonding system.
The technology employed for the SINFONY and
ROCATEC-SYSTEM provides for rapid working
procedures in dental laboratories and reliability
where mechanical/thermal effects and moisture,
which have an effect on the restoration in the
oral cavity, are concerned.
PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY
ESPE ROCATEC ® -PLUS special abrasive deposits
silicate particles on the surface of the metal.
These particles form a very thin ceramic-like
layer which adheres to the metal surface.
ESPE ® -SIL silane solution is used to create a
bond between this special layer and the opa-
quer/acrylic. Organic, polymerizable residual
groups form the bond between the opaquer and
facing material.
The ROCATEC JUNIOR SET consists of the
ROCATEC JUNIOR coating unit, ROCATEC-PLUS
abrasive coating material and ESPE-SIL silane
bonding agent. The ROCATEC JUNIOR coating
abrasive module is only intended for use with an
existing sandblaster.
The ROCATEC JUNIOR includes a tank for
ROCATECT-PLUS abrasive coating material.
