11. Maintenance and Care

11.1. LevMixer

drive unit

The LevMixer ® drive unit is designed to oper-
ate 24/7 maintenance free. However, to
minimize the wear, it is recommended that
the LevMixer ® drive unit be unplugged if it is
not in use for more than 24 hours. Each
time the LevMixer ® drive unit is to be used, it
is necessary to charge the superconductors.
The LevMixer ® drive unit can operate contin-
uously for 45 days. To recharge supercon-
ductors the machine must be unplugged for
at least 25 minutes. Then follow charging
procedures in section 5.2.

11.2. Palletank for LevMixer

a) Introduction
The container does not come into contact
with the fluid. However periodic cleaning|
disinfections cycles are recommended at a
frequency dependent upon the nature of
use (type of application and environment
into which the Palletank ® is taken). In order
to simplify the cleaning|disinfection cycles,
all movable parts of the Palletank

can be dismantled (including door hinges).
b) Cleaning
Stainless steel parts of the Palletank

to a 1% Solution of P3-Cosa Pur from the
Henkel-Ecolab at ambient temperature.
Application can be done manually with pads

cleaning method will depend on the quanti-
ty and type of residue. Cleaning procedures
can be optimized after cleaning tests have
been performed.

that of drinking water. The rinsing time may
