6. Before using

Remove the shaver and accessories from the packaging.
Inspect the shaver for damage. If you find any damage, do not use the shaver.
The shaver can be operated from the battery or from the cord.

6.1. Charging the battery

Proceed as follows to charge the battery:
 Connect the plug on the power adapter to the Charging connection [9] on the bottom of the shaver.
 Plug the power adapter into an easily accessible power outlet. The Charge display [4] provides
information about the state of charge while charging the battery. The state of charge is displayed in
percent from 0 to 100 in steps of 10.
 Disconnect the power adapter from the power outlet and from the shaver when the Charge display [4]
shows 100. The battery is now completely charged.

7. First use

Use the shaver only for dry shaving.
The shaver can be operated from the battery or from the cord.
